I worked on Data Connectivity & Integration - DCI, a product suite that drives data connectivity, replication and warehousing. 

 

One of the key features I worked on was the admin console. This included working with different types of users, their requirements, roles and responsibilities etc. User requirements were mostly dictated by meetings with our product's key clients and stakeholders. I worked closely with the product owner and manager to identify key personas, use cases and scenarios for different roles of the application. This also included our efforts in supporting bulk actions, system level actions along with more minute user level actions that override them. It was challenging to give just enough information to avoid errors as well as make it easy for admins to manage the product. The console also had various states to communicate summaries and overviews to support quick decisions.  Error handling was a huge aspect of this feature and it included different edge cases and scenarios.
